Janine B., also known as Faina, was born in Austria in 1988 and her musical journey found inspiration in many different styles of music, including Punk, Rock, Metal, Jungle, Folk, 80´s & 90´s, Industrial Music.
Her solo project, „The Translucent“, was heavily influenced by the music she experienced growing up.
This marked the start of a passionate musical journey.
In 2004, Faina started Djing with Old-school & Full-on, Twillight, Twisted, Ethnic -Tribal & Darkpsy. She likes to combine mystical melodies with big kicks and rich basslines. These sets predominantly range from 140 – 190 bpm.

Eventually she found her true calling and passion in Paranormal Psychedelic Night Music, inspired by ethnic, spiritual and freaky frequencies intertwined with powerful shamanic rhythms which will take you to another dimension.

In 2012, Faina had the honour to DJ for Triptec Records (Austria) and two years later her journey continued with a collaboration with Hippyflip Records, the first Darkpsy label from Spain. From 2014 – 2021, she released seven various artist CDs brought to you by HippyFlip Records. She aired a special set in 2016 which was released by Hippyflip Records on “Radio Psychedelic Transcendence 3ö“. In 2016, „MYSTIC RITUAL DANCE“  (part 1, 2 and 3 –  a series of various artist CD’s) aired on Interzone.pa.com. After part 3 of the series (known as 
“Mystic Ritual Dance”), her focus switched to dark psychedelic trance. Inspired by the series, her music took on a mysterious dark appearance.
Further releases that might be of interest include: „MYSTERIOUS DARK MATTER“ (15.01.2015), „TOXIC ACID LEGACY“ (26.07.2016), „THE CROWN OF SPIRITUAL AWAKENING“ (01.11.2016), „SPIRAL OF FEARLESS VA“ (20.03.2021) all released by Hippyflip Records. Last, but certainly not least, “CEREMONY OF WITCHCRAFT“ (05.03.2019) – a compilation of various artists produced by Djane Faina – was released by Anarchic Freakuency Records.

In 2014, Janine started to produce her own tracks using Ableton Live which progressed to Logic ProX in 2022. She received her diploma as a certified music producer in 2022.

She reached out to “Anarchic Freakuency Records“, a record label based in Cyprus (2017), which led to a partnership as well as being added as a label Djane and producer.
Faina played in various festivals all across Europe – including but not limited to: Funny Moon Festival / Czech Republic, Mallorca Spirit / Spain, Flower Moon – Ritual Barcelona / Spain , Halloween Night / Cyprus, Shamanic Tribe Gathering, Teleport, Bratislava / Slovakia.

October 2016 marked a further milestone in Faina’s musical career: she had the opportunity to play the drums for Austrian Trancedelic Beat Band “Wetterstein“ in Weberknecht (Vienna, Austria).

Few months after playing together, she worked with „Graham“ DJ „Free Spirit“ and started a new band project called „Industrial Sex Slave“, an Industrial Electronic Gothic project.
She first creates her own drum structure with the Korg Em1 & then performs the drums live with the Yamaha Dtx drum pad. Furthermore, one further developed. Fusion of crazy synth melodies and consistent drum sound.

Janine B. , also known as „Psyloca“, is her other pseudonym referring to her association with Techno, Her first taste of Techno was in 2014 where she was on the decks playing her own techno sets in Vienna (Kramladen & Weberknecht) and Mallorca Spirit (Mallorca, Spain).

Her variety of styles are: Melodic Oldschool / Rave/ Hard Techno / Industrial / Acidtechno / Psytech / Trancetechno and Deeptechno.
Psyloca’s set will take you on a vibrant and dynamic journey with a strong focus on spiritual and harmonious melodies, a touch of old school, strong kicks all polished off in a psychedelic flow.

Sets range between 130 – 165 bpm

Prepare for an unforgettable psychedelic adventure that will lift you into other dimensions.
